David Koch

David Koch (”Kochie”) is one of Australia’s leading business and finance commentators and co-host of Australia’s number one breakfast TV program, Sunrise.

He also hosts the Kochie’s Business Builders television program targeted at small business owners (which has just completed its 10th series), is heard on radio stations around Australia and is a weekly finance columnist for News Ltd newspapers and a range of online outlets.

Koch’s family business, Pinstripe Media, is a specialist small business and personal finance content producer with interests in television, radio and digital content marketing.

David Koch has a strong interest in small business issues and was a director of the NSW Small Business Development Corporation for over six years.

As a business owner, operator and company director, David Koch is in demand as a presenter and regularly addresses a wide range of corporate events and groups. His specialty is speaking on success in small business and investment issues as well as providing practical tips.  David speaks informatively from a base of personal experience and knowledge of business and financial issues.

But finance aside, he's a family man... father of 4 with 5 grandchildren. In 2007 he was honoured as Father Of The Year.

Community projects have always been a priority in David’s life. He is a big supporter of Father Chris Riley’s Youth off The Streets (wife Libby is a YOTS ambassador and director of YOTS Overseas Relief Fund) and patron of the YOTS-managed Koch Centre For Youth at Macquarie Fields.

He was also Advisory Council Chairman of the Organ and Tissue Authority which is the Government body charged with reforming Australia’s organ transplant system to bring it up to world’s best practise.

At the end of 2012 he was appointed chairman of the Port Adelaide AFL Club to steer the organization out of crisis and back on the road to sustained success both on and off the field.


Daniel Flynn

At the age of 19, Daniel Flynn established a social enterprise called Thankyou Water. The aim of Thankyou was to launch a bottled water product that would exist for the sole purpose of funding water projects in developing nations. Today it also funds food and health and hygiene projects in 17 countries.
The startup journey for Thankyou encountered a lot of setbacks along the way. However, Daniel’s determination to empower people to play a part in ending global poverty through simple everyday purchases has paid off. Thankyou products are now stocked in 7-Eleven, Coles, Woolworths and Australia Post, which has enabled Thankyou to give more than $4.1 million to help thousands in need.
You will be inspired and empowered by Daniel’s story as he shares the risks Thankyou took in pursuit of its big dreams and the lessons in overcoming challenges and obstacles, without losing sight of the end goal.
Among all of that, Daniel was also named 2014 Victorian Young Australian of the Year and in 2015 won the EY Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year.

If you’ve watched it, MAZ probably made it – she’s a passionate communicator who has worked on the initial creation, development, reinvention and show running, of some of the world’s biggest brands in Australia, UK and LA like: The X Factor, The Celebrity Apprentice, Q&A, Big Brother, Dancing With The Stars, The AFL Recruit, The NRL Rookie and many more. Maz has worked for BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky in the UK and ABC, Nine, Seven, Ten, Foxtel and BBC World Wide, in Australia. She has won a myriad of awards including British BAFTAs, National Television Awards, Royal Television Society Awards, TV Quick Awards, a Bronze Rose de Montreux, an Australian Logie and ASTRA

Maz is an expert in Entertainment and Reality TV and was a regular panelist with host Tom Ballard on Reality Check, ABC Australia. She has the best address book in the business and the numbers on their speed dial are head spinning: From Scary Spice Mel B to David Hasselhoff to Ronan Keating to George Calombaris to Mark Bouris to Fitzy, Guy Sebastian, Manu Fiedel, Jason Derulo and many more.

She started life as a magazine journalist and stylist in London and Absolutely Fabulous was based on her agent – she thinks it’s a documentary.  She has since had a variety of smart corner offices as Executive Editor of Format Entertainment at the BBC UK London, Director of Television Content, Fremantle Media Australia & Director of the award winning, Media Tribe, Australia.

Maz is currently Creative Strategist at BBC Worldwide, Executive Producer of Megastar, a San Francisco based online talent show based and runs Absolutely Farrelly, which specializes in content creation, training and strategy. Maz is an expert in knowing what you need to do to be remembered, to stand out and to win!


Libby Babet

Libby is the new trainer for Channel TEN’s The Biggest Loser: Transformed, fitness expert for Women’s Fitness Magazine and live fitness ‘entertrainer’ for the Hit Network.

She is the founder of two fitness businesses - Australia’s first ‘entertrainment’ group the BUF Girls and athletic performance studio AGOGA in Bondi. She is also co-founder of wholefood, grass-fed meat protein snack Chief Bar. In 2017 Chief Bar merged with This Natural Life, a distributor of health food products.

Libby is a qualified journalist and has worked in TV, newspapers and magazines. She writes extensively for various publications in both print and online, including her own weekly blogs via her businesses.


Justine Flynn

Justine Flynn is a visionary and co-founder of the trailblazing social enterprise, Thankyou Group. Driven by the single belief that global poverty can end in this lifetime, Justine, her husband, Daniel and the team designed and delivered a sustainable company that gives 100% of profits to help people across 17 countries.

Back in 2008 when the business started, Justine and the team were met with confusion, as the term ‘social enterprise’ wasn’t really a thing. Justine admits that maintaining the social enterprise angle while growing so fast can be difficult, but Flynn notes that Thankyou’s business model lends itself to sticking to these goals.

Combining her passion for business and people, Justine’s core role at Thankyou is establishing positive workplace cultures and driving effective marketing and communications activities to engage communities to contribute to social change. Justine will be sharing her learning’s in Fiji for you to be more successful in business.

In October 2014, Justine was named a finalist in the Telstra Women’s Business Awards in recognition of her efforts in establishing Thankyou Group.


Michol Dalcourt

Michol Dalcourt is an internationally recognised industry-leading expert in human movement and performance. He is the Founder and Director of IoM Health - a progress organisation, which deals with Prevention Health - he is the inventor of the fitness tool “ViPR” and co-founder of PTA Global - a certification for fitness professionals. Michol is based in San Diego, California. 

As an international lecturer and educator, Michol has authored numerous articles on human design, function and health. He has served as Faculty for the School of Health Sciences for NAIT College as well as the University of San Francisco.  

Michol sits on the Equinox Health Advisory Board as well as Nike’s Performance Council, informing these brands about aspects of Health and Performance.

Gretta van Riel

Serial entrepreneur and Instagram Marketer, Gretta van Riel boasts over 17 million followers on social media through her various business ventures.

Gretta began her career as a digital marketing manager and soon found that she had limited opportunities to feel challenged in her role. So at the age of 22, with just over $20 in the bank, Gretta had an idea to start an Instagram-based eCommerce business, SkinnyMe Tea, a 'teatox' product that helps with weight loss.

Gretta initially did all the manufacturing, packing and shipping from home during nights and weekends, while juggling her full-time job. The Instagram account grew to over 600,000 followers in under a year and very soon Gretta was making her monthly wage in a day. That was a signal for Gretta to quit her day job and focus solely on her entrepreneurial aspirations.

Since then, Gretta has founded and co-founded four more multimillion-dollar businesses: The Fifth Watches, Nichify, Drop Bottle and Skintox. Gretta’s success hasn’t gone unnoticed featuring in Mashable, Tim Ferris’ 4HWW Blog, Fast Company and more. Prue MacSween

It’s fair to say majority of Australian’s have heard of Prue MacSween. A veteran media personality and social commentator, Prue’s vast career has included being a journalist, TV reporter, magazine editor, radio presenter, author and small business owner.

After many successful years working in the media, Prue transferred her skills and connections to start her own public relations company, which was an instant success landing major brands like British Airways, Nestle, Westfield, Arnott’s and an envious list of clients including celebrities, media outlets and major events like Australia Day, the Bicentenary and Royal Visits.

Today, Prue is the principal of Verve Communications, a marketing and media consultancy with blue-chip corporate and government clients. As a marketer, she counsels clients through crises and issues, product launches, events and marketing communications.

Prue regularly appears as a social commentator on Channel 9’s A Current Affair, Channel 7 Sunrise, Channel 9 Today Extra and is a weekly “Deplorable” on Radio 2GB’s Chris Smith show.  


James Chapman

It’s every athlete’s dream to see their hard work in training payoff with a starting spot at the Olympics. For James Chapman, this was exactly the case after competing at three Olympic Games in rowing.

In 2004, James was a reserve for the men’s eight for the Athens Olympic Games and four years later despite missing out on initial qualification in the men’s four for the Beijing Olympic Games, James still got a shot in the men’s eight where he finished sixth in the final.

For the 2012 London Olympic Games, James and his crew showed they would be a force to be reckoned with in London when they won silver and gold in World Cup 2 and World Cup 3, respectively. During the London Olympic Games, he finished second behind the British in the final to come away with a silver medal. James will be sharing his learning’s from missing out in the Olympics to coming 6th to winning a silver medal – there are a lot of learning’s in business from James’ experience.
